Proposed Projects

The SkillsNET Foundation exists for the purpose of providing comprehensive workforce development programs and services that are financially and geographically accessible for at-risk populations in North America and developing nations. It seeks to accomplish this goal through cooperation and collaboration with non-profit organizations, governmental entities, educational institutions, and faith-based human service agencies.

A main objective of the SkillsNET Foundation is to make accessible innovative technology, resources, and support services to ensure that these organizations can help at-risk individuals acquire the knowledge and job skills necessary for productive and meaningful life. In addition, SkillsNET Foundation wants to ensure that charitable organizations can take advantage of the technological applications that will help them develop their workforce (paid and volunteer), enhance their operations, and advance their mission.

To fulfill this mission, the SkillsNET Foundation is open to a church, faith-based agency, para-church ministry, or other non-profit organizations proposing new projects or partnerships. SkillsNET’s Foundation directors will review these new proposed projects or partnerships to see if they are consistent with our mission, vision, values, and resources. Each new request will have:

  • summary of partnership or project
  • contact person for proposed project
  • desired outcomes for the project
  • budget needs and timetable to complete project
  • resources and volunteers that has already been identified as available to the project

If the proposed partnership or project falls within the scope of the Foundation’s plans, the contact person listed will be notified concerning a formal presentation to be made to the Foundation Board. To contact us for more information or to submit a proposal, send email to:  projects@skillsnet.org.
